English:
• Financial protection against eligible crop losses.
• Coverage for yield losses caused by specified non-preventable risks.
• Coverage may include drought, dry spells, flood, inundation, landslide, storm, hailstorm, cyclone, natural fire, lightning, pests and diseases.
• Prevented sowing/planting may be covered in eligible notified situations, with indemnity up to 25% of the Sum Insured.
• Eligible localized calamities and certain post-harvest losses may also be covered subject to scheme conditions.
• Farmer premium is capped at 2% for Kharif foodgrain/oilseed crops, 1.5% for Rabi foodgrain/oilseed crops and 5% for annual commercial/horticultural crops, subject to applicable notifications.

• নির্দিষ্ট অনিবার্য প্রাকৃতিক কারণে ফলন কমে গেলে বীমা সুরক্ষা।
• খরা, শুষ্ক সময়, বন্যা, জলমগ্নতা, ভূমিধস, ঝড়, শিলাবৃষ্টি, ঘূর্ণিঝড়, প্রাকৃতিক আগুন, বজ্রপাত, কীটপতঙ্গ ও রোগজনিত ক্ষতি অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতে পারে।
• যোগ্য নির্ধারিত পরিস্থিতিতে বপন/রোপণ করতে না পারলেও কভার পাওয়া যেতে পারে; সর্বোচ্চ ২৫% Sum Insured পর্যন্ত।
• নির্দিষ্ট স্থানীয় দুর্যোগ এবং কিছু ফসল কাটার পরের ক্ষতিও শর্তসাপেক্ষে কভার হতে পারে।
• কৃষকের সর্বোচ্চ প্রিমিয়াম সাধারণত খরিফ খাদ্যশস্য/তৈলবীজে ২%, রবি খাদ্যশস্য/তৈলবীজে ১.৫% এবং বার্ষিক বাণিজ্যিক/উদ্যানপালন ফসলে ৫%, প্রযোজ্য বিজ্ঞপ্তি অনুযায়ী।
Eligibility Criteria & Conditions
English:
• Farmers growing notified crops in notified areas are eligible.
• Sharecroppers and tenant farmers can also be covered if they have insurable interest and provide applicable documents.
• Non-loanee farmers can voluntarily enroll.
• Eligibility depends on the crops, area and season notified by the concerned State Government.

• নির্ধারিত এলাকায় নির্ধারিত ফসল চাষ করা কৃষকরা যোগ্য।
• বর্গাদার ও ভাগচাষীরাও প্রযোজ্য নথি এবং বীমাযোগ্য স্বার্থ থাকলে অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতে পারেন।
• ঋণগ্রহীতা নন এমন কৃষকরা স্বেচ্ছায় বীমায় নাম নথিভুক্ত করতে পারেন।
