Yuva Sathi / Banglar Yuva Sathi

Banglar Yuba Sathi" is a scheme introduced by the Department of Youth Services and Sports ,Government of West Bengal.It is a welfare program aims to support educated unemployed youth of West Bengal by providing 3000 or 2000 per month for at least 5 years.

ELIGIBILITY :

* The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal. * The applicant's age must be in between 21 to 40 years. * The applicant's monthly income must not be higher than 1 lakh. * The applicant must not be engaged with any other state government scheme or allowances with the exception of educational benefits and scholarship. * The applicant must have minimum educational qualification. •The applicant must be unemployed.

BENEFITS :

* The applicant with the qualification of graduation in any stream will get 3,000 per month. * The applicant with the minimum educational qualification will get 2,000 per month.

MODE OF TRANSFER :

The amount of this scheme will be credited by Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to an AADHAR link bank account of the eligible unemployed youth.

APPLICATION PROCESS :

Step 1 : Download "Yuva Sathi - Sarkari Yojana"app from the Play Store. Go to the "Yuva Sathi" section and click on the "New Application Submission" icon.(You will automatically reach the official website) Step 2 : After that, to register the applicant must enter the captcha along with a valid and active mobile number and an OTP will be send via SMS in the given number.The OTP must be used to complete the registration process. Step 3 : Upon successful registration, the application page will be visible. The applicant must feel the application form with all the necessary details. Step 4 : The applicant then need to provide all the supporting documents as prescribed by the authorities. Step 5 : Check all the column of the application form before final submission. Step 6 : Then click on final submission and submit the application form. Step 7 : After successfully submitting the form, download the application form and save it for future reference.

DURATION OF THE SCHEME :

The financial support will be provided for a minimum period of five years or until the applicant gets an employment or enrolls in another scheme.The live status of the beneficiary will be verified once every year.
